About Us

We are a completely independent UK-based company, and as such are not affiliated with any trade associations or component suppliers.  As a result we are able to give completely impartial advice regarding selection of components such as frames, glass and spacer bars to optimise thermal performance of all fenestration products.

We are able to guide you through complex issues such as compliance with UK Building Regulations, CA and CE Marking and the changes thereto brought about by Brexit.

We employ some of the most experienced engineers currently working in the field of fenestration thermal performance. Through our partner organisations, we have access to a vast range of expertise in fenestration and façade performance evaluation and certification, together with state of the art software solutions

Our Managing Director, Dr Gary Morgan, was a UK pioneer in the use LBNL's Therm program for carrying out simulations according to EN ISO 10077-2, and he has over 20 years experience in the field.  He was a founder member of The British Fenestration Rating Council, and was Technical Director for 12 years. During this time he was involved in working with the UK Government's technical advisers to get Window and Doorset Energy Ratings incorporated into the UK Building Regulations. He has been invited to speak at numerous Technical Conferences, including at the IFT in Rosenheim and the NFRC in Denver.

In addition, most of the current UK-based window and door simulators were trained

by Dr Morgan.

We are fully experienced in working with all frame materials including PVC-U, Aluminium, Timber, Steel and GRP, so are able to offer independent, expert advice on design optimisation to maximise thermal performance for all frame materials.
